Constellations are a mechanic added by Astral Sorcery. They are used to bestow effects beneficial to players. There are three kinds of constellations: bright, dim, and faint.
There are currently 16 constellations available: 5 bright, 7 dim, and 4 faint. All constellations (except the faint ones) can be used to attune Rock Crystals, Celestial Crystals, and the Mantle of Stars as well as for enchanting via the Stellar Refraction Table.
The bright constellations are able to be attuned to the players by using an attunement Altar to give them a set of perks or the Resonating Wand to provide an extra effect once held in main or off-hand player.
Constellation types
Bright constellations are visible to the player and possible to discover from the beginning. They are the only constellations a player can attune themselves to, and grant perks upon doing so.
These constellations are able to be found using a Looking Glass, Telescope, or Observatory.
Dim constellations are only visible after a player has attuned themselves to a constellation. Rock and Celestial Crystals can be attuned to these constellations.
These Dim constellations require an Observatory or Telescope to find. They are able to be used for all purposes besides attuning players.
Faint constellations are only visible to an attuned player using an Observatory. These constellations require an Observatory to find. Their purpose is for augmenting other constellations’ Rituals and altering their effects.
Finding Constellations astral sorcery
To find constellations, the appropriate Constellation paper must be acquired by the player first. This is going to display the constellation’s image in the “Constellations†tab in the player’s Astral Tome. After that, they have to be discovered by looking through a Looking Glass or Telescope at night, the former is limited to only seeing bright constellations.
Using the paper as a reference, the player needs to trace the constellation out on either device using the mouse. After a constellation has been discovered it is going to be displayed permanently in the night sky when it is in view and extra information is added to the “Constellations†tab in the Tome.
Looking Glass & Constellations
With the Looking Glass in hand, right-click and look into the sky, a box is going to pop up which is zoomed into the sky. What you are looking for is Constellations. You are going to know when you have found these when you see bigger stars that fade in and out in the center in the box. Bright Constellations
These Astral Sorcery constellations are able to be found by using a Looking Glass, Telescope, or Observatory. They are the only constellations to which the players are able to be attuned.
Aevitas (Creation)
This is a bright constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. Aevitas constellation is associated with life and growth.
This constellation Aevitas gives regeneration on all living entities that are close to the Pedestal aside from that, the plants also have an accelerated rate of growth.
“Being exposed to focus light of this constellation, flowers and plants close to the source are flourishing and grow much faster.” ~ Astral Tome.
Use in Armor – Aevitas
The Mantle will reduce the wearer’s hunger and regenerate health while it is worn.
Armara (Defence)
This is a bright constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with increasing defensive power or repulsion.
This Armara constellation constantly pushes mobs (excludes the players) away from the Pedestal. It will be able to cast out opponent projectiles like Skeleton Arrows.
This constellation bestows protection on books, armor, and resistance to potions.

Use in Armor – Armara
This constellation will completely block an attack inflicted upon the wearer. By default the Mantle can block 3 attacks and recharge one stack every 80 ‘ticks’ or ‘seconds’.
Discidia (Offensive)
This is a bright constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with violence and attacking. This Discidia constellation damages the hostile mobs close to the Pedestal.
Evorsio (Destruction)
This is a bright constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with breaking the environment. This Evorsio constellation will be able to break any solid blocks near the Pedestal.
Vicio (Travel)
This is a bright constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with distance and speed. This Vicio constellation gives entities near the Pedestal with Speed and Jump Boost.

These Astral Sorcery constellations need a Telescope or Observatory to find and can only be found by attuned players. They are able to be used for all purposes besides attuning the players.
Bootes (Herding)
This is a dim constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with animals and serenity. This Bootes constellation causes nearby animals to age and shed items as if they were slain.
Fornax (Heat)
This is a dim constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. This Fornax constellation gives Fire Aspect on the weapons and will smelt blocks on enchanted tools. It will be able to apply Fire Resistance.
This constellation bestows ‘Fire Aspect’ on weapons and will smelt areas around the attuned user and on attuned tools. It will applies ‘Fire Resistance’ to said user making them amune to fire attacks and spells.

Use in Armor – Fornax
When worn, the Mantle converts fire damage into healing. It will also melt or burn the ground the user is standing on.
Horologium (Time)
This is a dim constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with the passage of time and relativity. Unlike other Astral Sorcery constellations, it will only pop up the night after a solar eclipse that happens every 36 days.

“Being attacked causes nearby entities to freeze momentarily. There is a cool down period before it can freeze entities again. Fire damage will not bring about this effect.”

This is a dim constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with light and banishment.
This constellation bestows ‘Night Vision’ on both helmets and potions. Helmets receive permanent ‘Night Vision’.

This constellation bestows ‘Mending’ on tools and weapons or ‘Infinity’ on bows or crossbows and ‘Regeneration’ on potions.

These Astral Sorcery constellations need an Observatory to find. They can only be discovered by Attuned players. Their only aim is for augmenting other constellations’ Rituals and changing their effects.

This is a faint constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with corruption and resonance. This Alcara constellation is used to augment other constellations, corrupting the effect of the original ritual and also improving the crystal’s fracture rate.
Gelu (Ice)
This is a faint constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with ice and frigidity. This Gelu constellation is used to increase other constellations, improving their range while lowering their potential.
Ulteria (Beyond)
This is a faint constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with endurance and tenacity. This Ulteria constellation is used to increase other constellations, increasing their potential while lowering their range.
Vorux (Hunger)
This is a faint constellation which was added by Astral Sorcery. It is associated with anger and ferocity. This Vorux constellation is used to increase other constellations, improving their range and potential as well as the crystal’s fracture rate.
